Vestry

St. Mark’s Vestry is composed of 12 lay members elected by the parish. The Vestry is responsible for the property and finances of the parish. In addition, these lay leaders work with our clergy and staff to provide support, encouragement and spiritual leadership for all of our ministries.

The presiding officer of the Vestry is the Rector, and there are two wardens: the Senior Warden serves as a support person for the Rector, and the Junior Warden oversees the church property and buildings. The Vestry also appoints a Secretary and Treasurer. Elections are held at the Annual Meeting in January.

The Vestry meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm in the Parish Hall. Meetings are open to the parish and requests can be made to appear on the agenda.
