Bible Study

You are invited to a Bible Study hosted by the Daughters of the King. The book we are using is Bible Women: All Their Words and Why They Matter by Lindsay Hardin Freeman. The study sessions will be in the Parish Hall following the 10am Worship Service. Everyone is welcome!

Adult Formation

You are each welcome to come and join us to study and heal with the book "How Your Church Family Works" for 10 weeks (1 week per chapter). During this pivotal time in our church, this book study will help our whole church understand where we are, how we got here, and how to heal moving forward using proven psychological theory as seen through the lens of church systems. The Summer Fun Fest is happening again this summer. We will have a swim party, cookout, games, and special treats.
The Women's Social Group and the Men's Club are sponsoring the event.
Hosted at the Pardew residence at 1325 Nettleton Circle, Jonesboro.

Flowering of the Cross
The flowering of the cross represents the transition from Good Friday to Easter, from meditation on Jesus' death to joyful celebration of his resurrection. The ceremony transforms a barren cross, a reminder of Jesus' death, into an Easter symbol. Covered with fresh, living flowers, the cross serves not only as an emblem of Jesus' resurrection but also of the continuing presence of Christ among today's Christians.
5th Sunday Breakfast
The Tradition is Back! On Sunday, March 30 between the 8 am and 10 am services, the Men’s Club will host the complimentary 5th Sunday Breakfast in the Parish Hall. They will serve scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. All are welcome to attend. Note* We are having Holy Eucharist Service at 8 am and 10 am on March 30.
Children & Youth Bonfire
Children and Youth (along with their families) are invited to a bonfire at the Jacobs residence on Wednesday, March 26th at 5 pm. Bring lawn chairs and a side or dessert to share. Contact the Jacobs or the church office for address.
Chili Cook-Off
Let’s all come out to enjoy the Chili Cook-off and see who will be a winner!
Prizes this year are as follows
First place $150
Second place $100
Third place $75
Enjoy a delicious spread of chili and all the fixin’s. Come taste and see who will take home the title of Chili Champion. Have your chili on site at 5:00pm for judging and Supper starts at 6:00. We. need helping hand for cleanup. If you can pitch in, please sign up on the sheet located on the table in the narthex.
Admission is free -Donations to the Rector’s discretionary fund are welcome and appreciated.

Congregational Facilitated Conversation
Join us for a congregation-wide facilitated conversation on Sunday, February 23, immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. This conversation is a critical element in helping the search committee discern who to call as our next rector.
Quiet Day
All are welcome to attend, even if you are not in Daughters of the King. The Rev Katherine Smith will be speaking on “Applying Benedictine Spirituality to our Modern Lives.”
