Currently, meals cost around $1 per person and are paid for by donations from the churches and by individuals who want to help.  Harp’s Grocery Store in Jonesboro has allowed us to buy food at a discount to help start this ministry.

The lunches are served at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 531 W. College Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401 from 11:30am to 1pm.

If you want to volunteer, please email Susan Geis, secretary@stmarksjonesboro.org, or call 870-932-2124 for information.  You can see the list of teams by clicking here.  If you want to donate, send a check to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with “Two Saints’ Kitchen” in the memo line.  All designated donations are used only to purchase food for this ministry.

We have prepared flyers advertising this new ministry.  Feel free to download one today and post it to help us spread the news!

Two Saints’ Kitchen is a free meal program for those less fortunate in our community.  It is hosted by two churches: St. Paul Methodist and St. Mark’s Episcopal.  These two congregations work together to provide a free lunch each Saturday to anyone who needs it.  Our first meal will be served on July 30 and will continue weekly thereafter.
